The Program:

Day 01: (Tuesday) Arriving Cairo clear immigration and customs then our staff transfers you to the Movenpick Pyramids resort or the Pyramids Park resort. Overnight Cairo
OPTIONAL TOUR: Sound and light show at the pyramids $40 per person

VISAS: All travelers to Egypt must have a visa. Citizens of most countries can obtain one on arrival. Please let us know what passport you are traveling with and we will confirm whether you can get your’s on arrival.

Day 02: (Wednesday) International buffet breakfast, free morning to enjoy the hotel then in the afternoon a visit to the Giza Plateau where you will marvel at the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. Overnight Cairo (B)
OPTIONAL TOUR: enjoy a morning tour of Sakkarra with the famous stepped pyramid and Dahshur with the first of the stone pyramids, the Bent and Red. $55 per person


Day 03: (Thursday) Breakfast, check out, staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Aswan. Arriving enjoy a tour of the
Temple of Philae and the Pharaoh’s granite quarries before staff transfers you to the Iberotel Aswan resort. Overnight Aswan (B)
OPTIONAL TOURS:
Camel trek to St. Simeons Monastery ruins $60 per person
Visit to the Nubian Museum, a world class presentation of Nubia’s culture and history plus the Aswan Souk (Bazaar), noted as one of the best in Egypt. $50 per person.

Day 04: (Friday) Buffet breakfast, check out then staff transfers you to board your 5 star Deluxe Nile cruiser, the Queen of Hansa. Lunch on board and sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo and sail to Edfu. Dinner. Overnight Edfu (B,L,D)
OPTIONAL TOUR to Abu Simbel to see the famous temples of Ramses (must be booked with the original reservation). $250 per person including transfers, flights, entry fees, guide, service charges and taxes.

Day 05: (Saturday) Breakfast on board then visit the Temple of Edfu and sail to Esna. Pass the lock and sail to Luxor. Dinner. Overnight Luxor (B,L,D)

Day 06: (Sunday) Breakfast on board then cross the Nile to visit the West Bank (the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon). Lunch on board. In the afternoon visit the Karnak and Luxor Temples on the East Bank. Dinner. Overnight Luxor (B,L,D)

Day 07: (Monday) Breakfast then disembark. Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Cairo. Arriving staff transfers you to the Sonesta Cairo or the Fairmont Heliopolis hotel. Overnight Cairo (B)
OPTIONAL TOURS:
Dendara and Abydos: $120 per person
West bank sites not included in cruise: $95 per person (includes the Valley of the Queens, the tombs of the nobles and artisans, Medinet Habu, Ramessium, temple of Seti 1)
(Note: if you take any of the optional tours you will fly to Cairo in the afternoon or early evening)

Day 08: (Tuesday) Buffet breakfast, enjoy a tour of the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities featuring King Tut’s treasures plus a visit to the famous Khan el Khalili bazaar where travelers have been finding bargains since the middle ages. Overnight Cairo (B)
OPTIONAL TOURS:
Old Cairo with it’s famous churches and synagogue: $65 per person
Citadel of Salah el Din and the Alabaster Mosque: $65 per person

Day 09: (Wednesday) Check out, staff transfers you to the airport, assists with exit formalities and checking in for your International departure.

TOURS INCLUDE:OPERATES WITH NO MINIMUM AND A MAXIMUM OF 16 TRAVELERS.
All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour program starting with arrival to Cairo. Baggage handling of no more than 1 piece of luggage per person however baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk at all time during the tour (baggage handling does NOT include tips for bellmen, porters, etc.). Hotels (based on double occupancy). Domestic flights in Egypt (Cairo to Aswan, Luxor to Cairo) in economy class. 5 star Deluxe Nile cruise with outside Nile view cabin, private bath, and individual climate control. Meals as outlined by B for breakfast, L for lunch and D for dinner. Fees for visiting antiquity sites and museums. Services of an English speaking licensed Egyptologist. Service charges and taxes.
NOTE: During any of our small group tours people may join or leave at various times, however at no time would any group be larger than 16 travelers. We can provide private tours with an additional supplement. The cost depends on the tour chosen.

NOT included are: INTERNATIONAL AIR, items of a personal nature such as tips, entry visa (available at the airport on entry for USA citizens. Other nationalities should check with the nearest Egyptian consulate), phone calls, laundry, drinks with meals, any items not specifically covered in the included items.

Single Price is for Single occupancy hotel rooms and cruise cabins based on a minimum of two travelers. Single travelers (one person on the tour) would have additional cost.

FREQUENT TRAVELERS: You are welcome to arrange your own international air or we can assist if you are departing from the USA. Also if you are a member of any hotel chain frequent traveler program you are welcome to use your points for hotel rooms and the cost of the tour will be reduced accordingly OR if you want to accumulate points plus take advantage of membership hotel room upgrades let us know which program you want to use.
